BOTANICUM series Graphics / Grafiki z serii BOTANICUM
The series of ornamental graphics titled Botanicum are directly inspired by the forms of leaves of plants from my garden on the border of Mazovia and Podlasie in Poland and by Art Nouveau floral compositions. Nature, among which I have been immersed since childhood inspires me to creative work and development.
Seria grafik zatytułowana Botanicum zainspirowana jest bezpośrednio formami liści roślin z mojego ogrodu na pograniczu Mazowsza i Podlasia oraz roślinnymi kompozycjami secesyjnymi. Natura wśród której od dziecka się zanurzam inspiruje mnie do pracy twórczej i rozwoju.
Aseries of my hand-drawn drawings were used to create graphics made of specifically selected leaves, including grape leaves, acacia, fern, hornbeam, birch, oak and grass. The colors of the graphics are my personal interpretation – together with the linear form they creates the atmosphere of vintage engravings.
Cykl odręcznych rysunków posłużył do stworzenia grafik powstałych z konkretnie dobranych liści m.in. winorośli, akacji, paproci, grabu, brzozy, dębu i traw. Kolorystyka grafik to moja osobista interpretacja – tworzy wraz z linearną formą klimat rycin w stylu vintage.
The trace that is forever imprinted in my imagination and heart is nature, especially flora – its colors, forms, shapes, cycles. In the intention of the project, the simple form of the graphics, in a symbolic way transports the viewer into the world of nature and imagination, allows you to stop for a moment in the rush of everyday life.
Śladem na zawsze odciśniętym w mojej wyobraźni i sercu jest natura, w szczególności roślinność – jej kolory, formy, kształty, cykle. W zamyśle projektu prosta w przekazie forma grafiki, w symboliczny sposób przenosi odbiorcę do świata natury i wyobraźni, inspirując do bliższej i częstszej relacji z naturą.
